Today at the Maria’s Restaurant in Manasquan, the 2016 NJSA Annual General Meeting took place. One of the matters on the agenda, were the State Cups Rules.
Among the other policies discussed, the NJSA has decided on an experimental basis for this year, that in all State Cup games will have no more overtime played. If the teams are tied at the end of the regular time, the game will go straight to penalty kicks.
The NJSA also confirmed to extend the special entry fees for the man Over 40 and Women State Cups to remain at $25 provided, at least 4 entries are submitted in each of the competition.
The official confirmation will be send by the NJSA to all the participating teams.
