Ann Rapaglia, 72, lovely wife of our friend Sal Rapaglia, President of the Eastern New York Soccer Association,
Bank vice president, grandmother of seven, married for 51 years
Ann Rapaglia, 72, passed away on Aug. 6, 2016.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Dyker Heights for 30 years, moved to Greenridge for 27 years, and then to Tottenville for 16 years.
Ann attended Bay Ridge High School. She was the vice president of branch administration for Richmond County Saving Bank, retiring in 2001. Ann served on the boards of the Conference House Association, Salvation Army, Children’s Museum, and many others.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and traveling. She attended Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church.
Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years, Salvatore; her sons, Sandy (Anna) and Salvatore Jr. (Lana); her brother, Frank Pinto; sisters, Judy Ingram and Artemisia Pinto, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 10:15 a.m.
Mass is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, followed by a private cremation.
Friends may visit Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
