The Parsippany Blues O-40 team of the North Jersey Soccer League was crowned the State Cup champions team in the first ever Men Over-40 NJ State Cup.

After a hard fought and exciting game, the Parsippany Blues prevailed over Sportfriends O-40 with the classic score of 2- 0. Both tams had advanced to the final by defeating Rome O-40 and Denville O-40 teams in the semifinals.
The Over-40 NJ State Cup was introduced this season to give an opportunity to mature players to compete in a limited environment. From the initial reaction of the participating teams, the NJ State Soccer Association is optimistic that this competition will expand in the number of teams, next season.
